Toy’s for Tot’s changes name to R.U.S.H. – Rush County United Santa Helpers

RUSHVILLE — After 20 some years of the Frazier’s raising money for Toy’s for Tot’s, they have decided to turn the reigns over to someone else.

The American Legion Riders and the Rushville Eagle Riders have stepped forward and will take this group over changing the name to R.U.S.H – Rush County United Santa Helpers.

The Legion Riders and Eagle Riders have big shoes to fill as the Frazier’s/Toy’s for Tot’s have put many a smile on children’s faces in Rush County. Last year alone the Toy’s for Tot’s were able to help 171 kids.

The Legion Riders and Eagle Riders want to carry on this tradition by providing Christmas to kids in Rush County who wouldn’t normally have a Christmas for some reason. They need your help!

The first fundraiser to start collecting money is May 11.

Rush Co. United Santa Helpers will begin their ride at the Rushville Legion with sign ups from 11 a.m. to noon. The donation is $10 per bike and $5 per rider. The ride schedule will be available the day of the ride which begins at Rushville Eagles. The meal starts at 4 p.m. and will be $5 for non-riders. The evening includes an auction and music.

Join in helping these two community groups coming together for the kids of Rush County - Rushville Legion Riders and Rushville Eagle Riders

If you would like to donate to the kids of Rush County please call the American Legion at 765-932-3415 or the Rushville Eagles at 765-932-2476 to continue to put smiles on the faces of kids in Rush County at Christmas.
