Music for Rush County Fund grant application deadline

RUSHVILLE — The deadline for applications for a grant from the Music for Rush County Fund is 4 p.m. Monday, April 15. This fund, established by the late Faith Ellison in memory of her husband, E. Floyd Ellison, is to provide support to encourage music participation and the enjoyment of music by Rush County residents in a variety of ways.

Projects which might be funded include, but are not restricted to:

l Bring a concert performance to Rush County

l To help support local music groups, such as the Community Chorus or Community Band

l Help music teachers or other interested adults in the community attend a music education workshop

l To bring a music related program to the elementary or middle schools.
