On Saturday, the RCHS Jazz Combo 1 will be playing for the farmer’s market beginning at 10 am. We are pleased to have this great group of musicians join us again this year to share their musical talents. Come on down and join us, bring a lawn chair if you want, and enjoy the music from some of Rush County’s finest.
Also featured this week, Scott Kopf, one of our plant vendors, will give a brief garden program and demonstration on how to split or divide plants. His program will begin at 10:30 a.m.
We plan to add more music and programs to the market throughout the season. Find us on Facebook and “Like” our page to keep updated on upcoming events.
We have had a great beginning to our season with many returning vendors and some new faces at the market. You can find fresh produce, homebaked goods, homemade jams and jellies, farm fresh eggs, locally handcrafted items from jewelry to barn quilts, and later in the season local honey. Come on down and check it out, visit with the vendors, and buy one of our great market bags - only $1 each.
For more information about shopping the market, or if you are interested in becoming a vendor at the market, please contact Joyce Miller, Market Master at 765-561-2572.
