Come and enjoy the fun at the Rush County Fair

The 2014 Rush County Fair runs June 21-28.

Farrow Amusements will run Saturday thru Saturday. Advanced tickets for wrist-bands nights will be available at the local banks June 3 through June 21 for $15. These advanced tickets can be used any wristband night. Wrist band nights are Monday June 23, through Saturday, June 28. Wrist-band purchase during the fair is $20.

Rush-Shelby Energy Community Building and Truster Building with commercial exhibits will be open Sunday thru Friday nights.

Track events nightly Saturday, June 21 thru Saturday, June 28 including Demo Derbys, Tractor Pulls, 3/4 Midget Races, and ATV flat drags.

We also have daily 4-H livestock shows, including swine, beef, dairy, goat, sheep and poultry. We also have a dog and cat show, and 4-H exhibits in the Root Building.

The Rush County Agricultural Association is a not for profit organization comprised of volunteers who are committed to delivering a superior fair experience with top-notch grandstand offerings as well as a quality midway. We actively support community groups such as 4-H, FFA, Extension Homemakers, and other service oriented agencies. We work to educate the public about the importance of agriculture in our community by promoting and encouraging agricultural groups to offer events and information displays.

In 1940, Mr. and Mrs. Ora T Lower gave the Rush County Agricultural Association 18.65 acres of land to be used for the Rush County Fairgrounds. The fair board relies on funds from the fair, building rentals, and donations in order to maintain the buildings and fairgrounds all year long.

THE MIDWAY

The Rush County Fair uses North American Midway Entertainment (Farrow Amusements), a part of the same midway you visit at the Indiana State Fair.

Farrow Amusements will run Saturday thru Saturday. Advanced tickets for wrist-bands nights will be available at the local banks June 3 through June 21 for $15. Saturday, June 21, for $17, you purchase a $20. Arm band for the night, a free drink (at midway concessions only) and one free game. (Ticket must be purchased that night.) Sunday, June 22, is one ticket per ride night, and wrist band nights are Monday June 23, through Saturday, June 28. Wrist-band purchase during the fair is $20.
