Saturday, June 28, the 16th Annual Jason Kuhn Memorial Golf Scramble will be held at Horseshoe Bend Golf Course. Registration begins at 11 a.m. and tee time is 12:30 p.m.
“Having grown up there, it was always great to see how the community supports one another. I’m not surprised that the event has such a great history. People in that community love the Kuhn family, they loved Jason and they take care of their own,” Andy Wilson, former Rushville resident and scramble founder, said.
This year, the event will have a new direction.
“A decision was made to continue the event and benefit the community Jason loved. We are excited about this new direction. Beginning this year the proceeds from the scramble will be going to the Legacy Fund – Rush County Schools. I for one can certainly attest to the fact that Rush County Schools really are a great place to be,” Wilson said.
