---- — The City Of Rushville in conjunction with The Parks & Recreation Department and the Rush County F.O.P. held its 11th Annual Halloween Costume Parade on Saturday at The Rush County Fairgrounds Livestock Pavilion.
In addition, there were free Haunted Trail and hayrides Saturday, sponsored by the Rushville Street Department and the Rushville Parks Department. The Halloween Costume Parade began with sign-ups at 4 p.m., the parade at 5 p.m. and judging for all ages, including adults at 5:30 p.m. at the Livestock Pavilion at the Rush County Fairgrounds. There were treat bags and a prize for each child. Costume judging was for all ages, including adults.
Winners for the costume contest included: Age Group 1 & 2 - Luke Tames, Bronx Allison, Zoey Martz, Dayvania Holmes, Jonah Herriman and Sean Magorrian; Age Group 3 & 4 - Maxwell Reynolds, Zack Carlton, Addison Rogers, Payton Moore, Wyatte Tames and Sean Worley; Age Group 5 & 6 - Blake Wood, Baron Reynolds, Kandall Herman, Karma Wilson, Liam Gurley and Madox Love; Age Group 7 & 8 - Kane Thomson, Maya Wilson, Samatha Boyer, Arrabella Chandler, Bailey Bement and Illabelle Adams; Age Group 9 & 14 - Trevor Homes, Lane Beard, Olivia Mohler, Savanah Snow, Carigan Click and Diamond Simmons; Age Group 15 to Adults - Sarah Marlatt, Nicky Boyer and Cassidy Seever; and Groups - Wyatt, Kyle, Logan and Kendra Jacobs, Rose Love, Macie and Jessie Reed.

Rushville Trick or Treating will be 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday.
Halloween in Milroy
There will be a trunk and treat this year on Thursday for one night only. The Methodist Church and Christian Church are having a Trunk or Treat at the Milroy Christian Church parking lot. Youngsters are welcome to come and pick up treats. The Community Club is having a parade for the children beginning at 6 p.m. from the Milroy United Methodist Church parking lot and proceeding to the Milroy Christian Church. The Trunk or Treating will follow the parade in the Christian Church parking lot. Milroy residents have also traditionally turned on their porch lights and welcomed Trick or Treaters a day early for Halloween which would be Wednesday evening, Oct. 30.
