Breaking Out: The Easthills round out successful year with two big Indianapolis shows

Band with Rush County ties to perform at The Vogue (Nov. 8) and Tonic Ball (Nov. 22)

The Easthills, fronted by Hank Campbell and Will Barada, have had a breakout year behind their critically acclaimed new album and a series of strong live performances. The band also features Brad Morgan, Adrian Degner and Wade Parish. All the Easthills members are from Rush County except for Wade Parish, who is from Hancock County. The Easthills are breaking through and making a name for themselves with exciting performances being added to their tour dates.

This past April, The Easthills released their debut album Death Of A Salesman, which was produced by Doug Henthorn (Healing Sixes, Joe Bonamassa, John Hiatt) and have gained notoriety across the Midwest. The debut received strong critical acclaim from the Indianapolis Star, Nuvo Newsweekly, On Stage Magazine and more. The summer saw the band playing on prominent festivals including Wicker Park Fest (Chicago), Three Rivers Festival (Fort Wayne) and WARMfest (Indianapolis) as well as a fall tour supporting Fastball and multiple support and opener slots with the likes of Georgia Satellites, Ian McLagan (The Faces), and Heart.

In June the band dropped its first full-length video for the song "People Will Talk" and will soon release a second video for "My Morning Highway." Check out their video on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6R1_cHFdZNs

The Easthills have plans in 2014 to continue to release new music and record while also continuing to support Death Of A Salesman.

To round out 2013, The Easthills will open for Here Come the Mummies at the Vogue in Indianapolis on Friday, Nov. 8 and will also be a part of the annual Indianapolis event Tonic Ball on Friday, Nov. 22, playing at Radio Radio.
