Advance entries required for fair Baby Show

RUSHVILLE — The theme for this year’s Baby Show is Mother Goose so dress up your baby as your favorite nursery rhyme and join in as Meridian Health Services presents the “Mother Goose” Baby Show at the 2013 Rush Couny Fair. Babies must be pre-registered. Forms must be turned in by 10 p.m. June 24. No late entries will be accepted.

The Baby Show will begin at 10 a.m. June 26 at the RCHS Laughlin Center for the Performing Arts. Check in begins at 9:30 a.m. with specific times for each class. Registration forms are available from Meridian Health Services, 509 Conrad Harcourt Way; the Extension Office at the Root Building at the Rush County Fairgrounds after June 16; or in the lobby of The Rushville Republican, 126 S. Main St. All forms are due by June 24.

At least one parent or guardian must be a Rush County resident and babies can only be entered in one class. Bring birth certificates on the day of judging. Babies are judged on personality, actions and appearance. Babies must be accompanied by one adult in the judging area.

Photography by Green will be taking individual pictures at the Baby Show, after your baby’s class has been judged. Each participant will receive a free 4x5 photo courtesy of Photography by Green.
