RUSHVILLE — The Legacy Fund – Rush County Schools will begin collecting your used Inkjet Cartridges, GPS Systems, Cell Phones, MP3 Players, Laser Cartridges, Toners, and Digital Cameras beginning Feb. 4, 2013. Collection receptacles will be available at all Rush County Schools (except Milroy Elementary School) and the Central Offices for Rush County Schools. While schools will be recycling their used items, we encourage parents to bring in their recyclables for deposit too. If you are employed by a company not currently participating in a recycling program, please deposit your work recyclables as well. This is a win – win! We become good stewards of the earth by recycling and the Rush County Schools receives credit for this participation.

So before you just pitch that used ink cartridge or outdated phone, please remember to bring these items to school for recycling at its best. If you have questions or we can be of assistance in any way contact: Marianne Scott at RESE (765) 938-1616 or by e-mail at Thank you for making Rush County Schools a great place to be.

Marianne Scott serves as the Legacy Fund director/information officer, Rush County Schools.
