Community Good Friday service

RUSHVILLE — The community is welcome to join a United Good Friday Worship during the noon hour Friday, March 29 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 631 N. Harrison Street, Rushville.

The worship will begin at 12:10 p.m. and conclude promptly at 12:50 p.m.

This community worship of quiet reflection, commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus the Christ, is hosted by Main Street Christian Church, First Presbyterian Church, St. Paul United Methodist Church and Trinity Presbyterian Church.

Rev. Jan Dimick, pastor at St. Paul United Methodist, will preach from John 19:25-42. Her sermon is titled, “A Global Warming.”  

David Hiner, organist of Trinity Presbyterian, will provide sacred music, Rev. Sam Davenport of Main Street Christian and Rev. Dena Vittorio of First Presbyterian, will share the Good Friday scriptures and prayers for all God’s people.
