David Lee Clark, 68, of Alvin, Texas, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at his residence. David was born on July 6, 1945, in Detroit, Mich., and was a resident of the Alvin area for 29 years. He served in the United States Navy from 1964-1968 and was a member of Heights Baptist Church in Alvin. David was preceded in death by his parents, Holmes and Natalie Clark; brother, Henry Clark; and grandson, John Michael Riggs.

David is survived by his children, Robert Clark (April) with grandchildren, Andrea, Ashley, Robert, Brian, and Bradley; Louise Smith (Jay) with grandchildren, Charity; Dawn Marie Szefler, with grandchildren David, Zach and Dillion; Cecelia Barnes (Robert) with grandchildren Gavin and Grant; and Rob Fuqua (Dondra) with grandchildren Braya, Shane and Kaydence; sister, Mary Catherine Brown (Douglas); nephews, Kenneth and William.

David is survived by his great grandchildren, Frankie, Jacob, Ellie and Johnathan. Special friends include Glenda Robbins and Rebecca Riley along with numerous other relatives and friends.

David was a beloved Christian, grandfather, father and brother. David was an employee of Baygas Propane for 19 years. He served the nursing home community with years of dedicated visitations along with donating over 8 gallons of blood to The Blood Center. David will be truly missed by his family and friends.
