Job Fair to be held in Greensburg

RUSHVILLE — A major Job Fair will be held in Greensburg Thursday, April 25, 2013. This event will take place from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the Greensburg City Hall Auditorium, 314 West Washington Street.

The Economic Development Corporation (EDC) of Greensburg Decatur County, Greensburg Decatur County Chamber of Commerce, Ivy Tech Community College, the Indiana Region 9 Workforce Board, and the Greensburg Daily News are partnering to host this event.    

EDC Executive Director Marc Coplon says that “this Job Fair will provide a great opportunity for employers and job seekers to discuss new job possibilities in face-to-face conversations.”

Expected employers include such companies as Honda, Hitachi Powdered Metals, Valeo, GECOM, OSL, Indiana Assemblies, MainSource Bank, Old National Bank, Morning Breeze Retirement Community, Hickory Creek Healthcare and staffing agencies from around the region.

Over 200 jobs will be available including machine operators, production associates, equipment maintenance technicians, engineers, supervisors, accountants, purchasing agents, bank tellers, CNA’s, Registered Nurse, LPN’s and more!

Exhibitor space is available on a first come, first served basis. There is no charge for direct employers or job seekers at this Job Fair. It is highly recommended that those seeking jobs bring a current resume and dress appropriately for interviews.
