About Amish Open Mic Band
Consisting of close friends Troy Herbert, Stan Richards and Marc McCane (Wally), Rushville’s own Amish Open Mic Band is self-described as “unusually hip, casually acoustic,” and will be sure to cover country, blues and rock.
Riverside Park Amphitheater is a premier outdoor music venue located at 100 West Water Street in Rushville. The venue is a great concert destination annually hosting live music events and creating a great family-friendly environment with all performances taking place on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase. There is a beer garden on-site for adults over 21 years of age; however, no alcohol is to be brought into the park and all coolers are checked upon entry.
Parking is conveniently available in gravel lots or in surrounding business lots with easy shuttle service to and from the amphitheater. Special handicap parking is also available.
Looking ahead to the remainder of the season in August, Who’s Bad (The Ultimate Michael Jackson Tribute Band) will perform Aug. 24. This live performance is an unrivaled celebration of the pop music’s king. Their power-packed performance has ignited crowds on every continent and can only be described as a jaw-dropping, musical must-see.
In September, Riverside Park Amphitheater welcomes Pink Droyd (A Tribute to Pink Floyd) as they bring to life the music of Pink Floyd Saturday, Sept. 21 with classic hits like “Money,” “Another Brick in the Wall (part II)” and “Wish You Were Here.”
