Local Relay for Life team Cathy’s Cousins has come up with a fun way to help raise money for this year’s event.
Their fundraiser is called “Win a Dinner Date with a Bachelor.” They are selling chances to win a dinner date with the following Rush County bachelors:
Dwayne Newhouse
Rob Newhouse
Bill Richey
Jeremy Davis
Michael Daubenspeck
Doug Harpring
Craig Newhouse
Logan Douglass
Seth Newhouse
Kraig Bradley
Joel Geise
Each bachelor will have an entry box at the team’s Relay for Life location in South Veterans Memorial Park.
The team will be selling chances at $5 each and there is no purchase limit. A random drawing will be held between 6:30 and 7 p.m. during the Relay to determine the winner.
Each winner will be awarded a picnic dinner with her bachelor in the park at 7:30 p.m. during the Relay.
The team is hoping that this will be a fun and lucrative event.
The goal is to make as much money for Relay for Life as possible.
Cathy’s Cousins will also be selling jewelry at their Relay location created and handcrafted by Theresa Hannebaum of Liberty.
