Rushville boil advisory lifted

The boil advisory for the City of Rushville was lifted early Sunday morning. According to Paul Harr of the Rushville City Utilities, the advisory was lifted shortly after 8 a.m.

The advisory was set in place Thursday as a precautionary measure only and was recommended by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management.

According to RPD dispatcher John Wall, Harr contacted the local law enforcement agency Sunday and indicated that two bacteria samples that were analyzed were returned with negative results, allowing the advisory to be lifted.
