Spring is just around the corner and The Rush County Chorale and Children’s Choir would like to announce their upcoming concert March 13 and 14 at the Laughlin Center. The theme of the concert will be “He Is Risen” but the performance also will include a tribute to our Armed Forces.

The members of the Chorale and Children’s Choir, along with Dave and Fran Doyle and Ann Fenimore, would like to invite our troops and veterans of Rush County and the surrounding area to attend this concert in honor of their contributions.

“Singing in honor of these individuals and their families is the least we can do. We don’t do enough for the men and women who serve our country,” the Doyles stated.

Veterans and members of the Armed Forces are encouraged to wear their uniforms to the performance.

There is much more that goes into running a concert than one might think. The people behind the scenes, such as Muriel Moore and Carolyn Sorber, should be recognized for their extra efforts that go beyond showing up and singing at rehearsals.

It is a necessity for all of us to work together to support these events from a financial standpoint. Moore commented, “It is tough to give extra during the economic times we are facing, but every bit helps. The Chorale has been in operation since 2002 and the support of our patrons is always a critical factor so we may continue providing such harmonious performances.”

The following are levels of membership, and the Chorale appreciates your patronage.

n $25 donation - Quarter Note that includes acknowledgment in the program.

n $50 donation - Half Note that includes acknowledgment in the program.

n $100 donation - Whole Note that includes acknowledgment, performance CD and two tickets.

n $150 and up - Major Chord that includes all of the above and two additional tickets.

You may send donations of any amount to:
