Looking for info on family

RUSHVILLE —

Dear Editor: My name is Dervin Garrison. I am the son of Walter Garrison, a policeman killed in the line of duty in Rushville in the early 1930s. I grew up in Sullivan, Ind. and have lived in Quincy, Ill. for about 60 years, teaching in the public schools there for more than 30 years. I am eager to learn of any relatives of Walter Garrison living in the Rushville area and to learn something of my ancestry there. I can be contacted online at dervlor20@gmail.com or by snail mail at 2130 Harrison Ctg. 26 B., Quincy, IL, 62301. Thank you for any consideration. Dervin Garrison Quincy, Ill.
