---- — Appreciates care at RMH
On the weekend of July 6 and 7, I had occasion to be hospitalized in Rush Memorial Hospital with a diagnosis of gastroenteritis. I want to thank everyone, and hopefully will leave no one out.
First of all, the first responders to my 911 call were very professional and courteous. I did not get their names, but you know who you are.
Once at the hospital, the female doctor and Dr. Daugherty treated me with the utmost compassion and professionalism.
The emergency room nurse, who I believe was Amber (forgive me if this is wrong) was the only one who could get an IV started when at least four others had failed. The weekend nurses on second floor, Theresa and Gerry, took very good care of me in getting me back to good health.
Dietician Dena Bills and Pharmacist Greg Pratt were very informative with instructions for home care recovery.
We have a very good hospital in this community staffed by professional and courteous people. I would further like to thank Father Jeremy Gries for making time in his busy schedule to come and minister to me.
Last, but not least, I wish to thank my sister, Marcia Fish, my girlfriend, Karen Hall, and my good friend, David Smith for spending time with me in the hospital, giving me much needed support.
Thank you one and all
