Dear Editor:

As the Rush County Veterans Service Officer I am looking for volunteers to drive a van to the Veterans Administration Hospital in Indianapolis.

This van will arrive soon and the need for drivers is upon us. All you need is a valid driver’s license.

Afghanistan and Iraqi veterans as well as older veterans from Rush County are going to the VA hospital for treatment and need our help. Being a volunteer driver says thank you to our veterans.

I hope this van is here for a long time!
