Farm Credit Services Relay for Life Team would like to thank all those who came out on the 15th of March to support our fifth annual Relay for Life auction and dance. It was a huge success, raising close to $8,000.

Region 5 Abate will be having a charity ride for the Indiana Make a Wish fund. Rush County is part of this region. The monies raised go directly to grant the wishes of some very ill and deserving children from our region.

Please stop animal abuse
Dear Editor:
I am a 15-year-old girl who is an animal lover. After hearing about people who abuse their animals I couldn’t believe it. There’s a person who goes to my school who blew up a cat. It’s horrible. Animal abuse needs to stop NOW.
Volunteer drivers needed

As the Rush County Veterans Service Officer I am looking for volunteers to drive a van to the Veterans Administration Hospital in Indianapolis.

The City of Rushville came under a boil water advisory today (Friday); I didn't find out about it until I stopped in at a local eatery for lunch.
