The Court & Child Advocacy Group is hosting an information meeting for the Rush and Shelby County CASA Volunteer Programs at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, at 54 W. Broadway St., second floor conference room in Shelbyville.
The Rush County Program is growing fast and currently has seven active CASA’s.
CASA is a court appointed special advocate and are the voices for abused or neglected children. Come and find out more about CASA, why we need CASA’S and how to train to become one. For more information call 317-932-1212. CASA program offices will soon open in Rushville at 126 S. Main Street.
