The Jivin Jackson 4-H Club met Nov. 30 and visited Flatrock River Lodge and Millers Merry Manor, singing Christmas carols to the residents.
There were 38 members and 10 guests who enjoyed the outing.
A pizza party was then enjoyed by the group and project manuals and information was given to the members.
The club collected several bags of food items for the food pantry in Rushville.
Along with pizza, cookies and chips were provided.
Those who brought cookies were Monica Robinson, Delaney and Kellan Dawson and Brooke and Dawson Cameron.
Drinks were provided by Olivia Dora and Jarred and Jonathan White.
Leaders in attendance were Judy Leisure, Lisa and Bill Markley, Karen Macy and daughter, Kylie.
The club wishes everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
