RUSHVILLE — Homemakers On the Go Extension Club met Nov. 15 at the Carthage Library. The evening began with 12 members answering roll call by telling what they are thankful for. Barb Proctor led the group in grace prior to all helping themselves to the carry-in dinner provided by members.

The business meeting followed with final details about the Christmas party Dec. 5. Rita Leisure gave the treasurers report. Claire Mercer, Cultural Arts chair, gave a summary of the trivia book, "Don't Know Much About Anything."

Janet Cooper read an inspirational piece "Blue Rose" by an anonymous author.

The Bid Gift was won by Patty Bundy.

Everyone was reminded to bring a ""white elephant" exchange gift for themselves and a guest to the Christmas party.

There will be no regular meeting in December.
