RUSHVILLE — Main Street Christian Church

Main Street Christian Church announces their Advent and Christmas events and worship services. The overall Christmas theme of services and events, "The Gifts We Bring Honor the King," lifts up the gifts in heart and spirit that we have to offer Christ this Christmas. Series are held at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

Upcoming events include: Youth Group meeting at 5 p.m. Sunday; a church-wide Christmas Caroling Party at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 16; Sunday School Christmas program at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 18, followed by the annual meeting at 10:15 a.m., and Christmas Eve candlelight services at 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. One Christmas morning service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 25. Pastor Sam Davenport invites the public to attend all events.

St. Mary's Catholic Church

St. Mary's Youth Group Live Nativity scene will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, in front of St. Mary's Catholic Church, 5th and Perkins streets.

Wesley United Methodist Church

Wesley United Methodist Church, corner of 8th Street and Ft. Wayne Road, invites the community to a Christmas meal beginning at noon until 4 p.m. Dec. 17. Come one come all to this complimentary meal while the food lasts. Delivery available for shut-ins by calling 938-9378. Non-perishable food donations are being collected for donation to the Rush County Food Pantry so that everyone might have a happy meal this Christmas.

Knightstown United Methodist Church

Breakfast of donuts and milk with Santa from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday hosted by the Knightstown United Methodist Church. Children are invited to come talk to Santa and have their picture taken with him.

Coffee & refreshments at 8:45 a.m.

Morning Worship Service begins at 9:30 a.m.

Children's Church will meet at the same hour, and Cheryl Oakes is the leader.

Sunday Bible Classes will meet at 10:50 a.m. for all ages.

Christmas Program on Dec. 18 during the 9:30 a.m. service. Caroling in the evening

Christmas Eve Service at 7 p.m.

 Big Flatrock Christian Church invites everyone to their special Sunday morning service at 10:20 a.m. this Sunday with the award winning Kentucky Sisters as special guests. Share in their inspirational music. There will be a pitch-in dinner immediately following the service. Everyone is welcome. For more information call 765-932-5229.
