WEDNESDAY (11/18)
n American Legion Auxiliary Unit 150 is having its regular meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday. We will discuss poppy sales, holiday events and future goals of the auxiliary. Come see what great things we are doing. Membership dues will be collected starting at 6 p.m.
n Big Brother Big Sister is having a Pampered Chef show and open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday with a demonstration beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Booker T. Washington Center, 525 E. Seventh Street, Rushville. Everyone welcome. If you can not attend and want to order call BBBS 765-932-5449.
n Manilla Town & Country Homemakers Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the home of Evonne Kuhn. Cohostess is Lori Kuhn. Donna Kuhn will give devotions. Roll call is "Holiday Party Plans." A lesson on "Life Is Short; Wear Your Party Pants" will be given by Kathy Wright. Members are reminded to bring secret pal information.
n Noble Niters will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the home of Sara Schwendenman with Beth Barnes as cohostess. Lesson “Life Is Short; Wear Your Party Pants” will be led by Carla Angle. Roll call response will be ideas for stocking stuffers. Inspiration will be given by Linda Murphy.

n RMH Sheehan Cancer Center support group will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Sheehan Cancer Center, 110 E. 13th Street, Rushville. Bring friends and family. Open to anyone regardless of where you are being treated. For more information call 765-932-7534.
n Rush County Health Department will hold a senior screening from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Rush County Senior Center. There will be screening for weight, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, hemoglobin, blood sugar and hemocult testing. Also, health education will be included. This is available to all Rush County senior citizens at no cost. Note change of starting time to 9 a.m.
n The ICAP board of directors will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the New Castle ICAP office.
