n A Holiday Expo is being held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today in the Rushville Elementary School gym. Admission will be $1. Nearly 50 vendors, which will include craft vendors and various home consultants and businesses will be participating.

n A Holiday Expo is being held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today in the Rushville Elementary School gym. Admission will be $1. Nearly 50 vendors, which will include craft vendors and various home consultants and businesses will be participating. There also will be a bake sale, lunch, and door prizes. This event is a fundraiser for Rush County Victim's Assistance, Inc., St. Mary's PTA and the Rushville Republican NIE.

n Wesley United Methodist Church, 627 E. Eighth Street, Rushville will host a chili supper from 3 to 7 p.m. today. Menu: chili, crackers, peanut butter sandwich. Carry-out available. Contact Willie or Blanche at 765-938-9378.

n The Rushville Chapter DAR will meet at 1:30 p.m. today at the home of Lisa Winship. Paul David Smith will bring a Veteran's Day program. Members are reminded to bring their finished Christmas trees for the Veteran's Hospital.

n Milroy Elementary School will have its annual Fall Festival today. The public is invited to attend. A turkey-noodle dinner will be served from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Carry-outs available. Games from 6 to 8 p.m. Also prizes, country store, auction. Tickets available at MainSource branches in Rushville or call the school for information 629-2323.

n Headstone benefit for Joseph Edward Stanley, who lost his battle against small cell lung cancer. Your help is needed to assist his family through a financially difficult time. Benefit is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at American Legion Post No. 150 in Rushville. Dinner, music and dancing $6. Auction at 7:30 p.m. Music by DJ Brian Vanover (9 p.m.). Thank you for making this benefit to purchase a headstone a success.

n The Shawnee Valley Dulcimer Society based in Brookville will have its second workshop and festival starting at 12:30 p.m. today with dinner (free-will offering) at 6 p.m., concert ($5 donation) at 7:15 p.m. Make reservations by Tuesday by sending check or money order to Shawnee Valley Dulcimer Society, PO Box 264, New Trenton IN 47035. n Knights of Columbus No. 769 will host a chicken fry from 5 to 8 p.m. today. The price for the meal is $8.50 for adults and $5.50 for children. All you can eat (dine-in only). Carry-outs available. The public is invited.

n The community is invited to attend nightly revival services beginning at 7 p.m. through today at Metamora Church of God Fall Camp Meeting. The Sunday services will be 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Evangelist Richy Homes and Dr. Amaraj Mahiraj are the guest speakers. There will be snacks served following the evening services. n The Hancock County Extension Homemakers is hosting a Holiday Extravaganza today at the Hancock Co. 4-H fairgrounds in the Exhibit Hall. There will be booths featuring jewelry, floral arrangements, country and primitive items, candles, custom furniture, ornaments, baked goods, handcrafted items, and more.

n The Rush County Ministerial Association will host this year's Community Thanksgiving Praise Service at 3 p.m. Sunday at First Church of God, 1200 W U.S. 52, Rushville.
