n The Milroy Research Literary Club will meet at 7 p.m. to at the home of Joan Lines. Doris Richey will present the program.
n The Memory Crafters club will meet at 6:30 p.m. today at Main Street Christian Church. We will have a work night and a scrap exchange. This is where you trade those leftover stickers, ribbon, etc. for items other attendees no longer want. No membership needed. Everyone welcome.
n Association of Information Technology Professionals - East Central Indiana will have its monthly meeting at noon today at the Innovation Connector, 1208 W. Whiter River Blvd., Muncie. Meeting is one hour, lunch provided. Non-member fee is $10.
WEDNESDAY (11/11)
n A Veterans Day program will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Arlington Elementary School in the gymnasium. All veterans and interested persons are invited. For more information call the school at 765-663-2416.
n Hint Hunters Homemakers Club will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the home of Yvonne Carter, 614 N. Morgan Street, Rushville with Alma Bailey as cohostess. Program “Healthier Holiday Foods, Healthy Holidays” will be presented by Yvonne Carter.
n All Social Security offices will be closed Wednesday in observance of Veterans Day.
n The Rushville Music Study Club will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church. Program will be presented by Carolyn Keith, Judy Springmire and Betty Long. Please let the hostess committee know if you cannot attend.
THURSDAY (11/12)
n The fall dinner meeting of the Rush County Historical Society will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at Benjamin Rush Middle School. The program will be "Show and Tell With Antiques & Collectables" by J. Scott Keller. Cost is $14 for members and $16 for non-members.
n The Rushville Elks will host its annual “Oyster Extravaganza” starting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Menu features oyster stew, chili, fried oysters, turkey fries, livers and gizzards, and all the trimmings. Cost is $16 with all proceeds to benefit Indiana Veterans Services.
