anniversary: Kuhn

— Charles D. and Kathleen L. Kuhn of Waldron will be honored for their 65th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Zion United Church of Christ, 7025 E 100 N, Shelbyville.
Kathleen L. Meal and Charles D. Kuhn were married July 24, 1943 at the Waldron Methodist Church in Waldron by Rev. Chester Scott.
Charles D. Kuhn was employed at Rush County Stone Co., then at Waldron Health Care Home Inc. until retiring in 1982 and later. His wife was employed at Waldron Health Care Home Inc. Both Kathleen and Charles Kuhn were administrators. The Kuhn family owned Waldron Health Care Home Inc. for 40 years.
The couple has five children, Donna M. Gollnick, Arlington, Va.; Marvin D. Kuhn, Homer; Larry Ray Kuhn, Shelbyville; Marilyn J. Adams, Waldron; Dwain R. Kuhn, Waldron; 13 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.
