n St. Paul's United Methodist Church will host a Bicycle Safety Clinic at 5:30 p.m. today in the parking lot at 426 North Morgan (corner of Fifth and Morgan streets). For more information contact David Payne (932-2092) or Pastor Nan Chizmar (932-3777).

n All Star Soccer Camp will be held Wednesday through Friday at McNabb Park in Carthage. Soccer camp is free and open to kindergarten through sixth grade students. THURSDAY (7/9)
n All local 1118 UAW who are drawing a pension from union are eligible to come to a retiree dinner at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Eastside Methodist Church in Connersville. Please bring a filled covered dish. All drinks, plates, etc. will be provided. Come alone or bring a spouse/friend. Widows welcome. It’s a casual event so come relax and enjoy time with old friends.
n The Gingham Pals Home Ec Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Park Restaurant for dinner, with an afterglow party at the home of Ann Hamill. Program books with lessons and meetings will be filled out at this time.
n Hint Hunters Homemakers Club will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at the home of Janeice Byrne, 830 North Sexton Street, Rushville. Members will be filling out program books for next year. Please bring a finger food.
SATURDAY (7/11)
n The annual Neeb Open will be the second weekend of July. The golf event will be held at Antler Pointe Golf Course on Saturday and the tee time is set for 7:30 a.m. Men and women are both welcome and encouraged to play.
