Published May 21, 2008 11:34 am - The Jivin Jackson 4-H Club met May 13 at the Jackson Township Community Building. Vice president Kevin McCallister called the meeting to order. The American pledge was led by Michaela Orme and the 4-H pledge was led by Tyler Netherly.

The Jivin Jackson 4-H Club met May 13 at the Jackson Township Community Building. Vice president Kevin McCallister called the meeting to order. The American pledge was led by Michaela Orme and the 4-H pledge was led by Tyler Netherly.

“A place I'd like to visit” was the response for roll call with 16 members replying. The minutes of previous meetings were read by Mary Kate Amos. Michaela Orme gave the treasurer's report. The 4-H Song was led by Mary Kate Amos and Michaela Orme. A thank you was given to those who bowled in the Bowl for Kids’ Sake in April.

Demonstrations were given by Tyler Netherly, Kaboom mix; Nicole Netherly, punch; Jordan Kennedy, recycling a Kool Aid bag; and Mary Kate Amos, how to show a sheep.

Refreshments were furnished by Ashley Hedrick, Catie Liggett, Madison Sutter and Nicole and Tyler Netherly.

Pre-judging will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. June 9.

The last meeting before the fair will be at 7 p.m. June 10.
