n The first meeting of the 4-H Dog Club will be at 6 p.m. today at the fairgrounds’ Livestock Pavilion. Do not bring dogs to this first meeting. If you have questions call the Purdue Cooperative Extension Service-Rush County at 932-5974.
WEDNESDAY (2/10)
n Hint Hunters Homemakers Club will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the home of Alma Bailey, 1040 N. Main Street, Rushville with Janiece Byrne serving as cohostess. The lesson “Healthy Holiday Foods” will be presented by Anna Rouse. Roll call will be “Your first boyfriend.”
n Rushville Music Study Club will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church. Program will be presented by Ann Fenimore, Muriel Moore and Donna Garner. Please let the hostess committee know if you cannot attend.
THURSDAY (2/11)
n The Rush County Democrat party precinct meeting will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Rushville City Hall. The group meets the second Thursday of each month except December.
n The next H1N1 clinic in Rush County will be from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday by appointment only at the Rush County Health Department in the courthouse. This is open to anyone who would like to receive the vaccine or for those children needing a second vaccine. Call the department for an appointment time at 765-932-3103. The Rush County Health Department is located in Room 105 on the first floor of the courthouse.
n The Gingham Pals Home Ec Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the home of Anita Mohr. Roll call will be “Vacation Memory” or “Where You Would Like To Go.” Trudy Ariens will give the lesson on "Great Getways."
FRIDAY (2/12)
n Manilla Lions Club is hosting a spaghetti supper from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at their community building on SR 44 on the west side of Manilla. Free-will offering with all donations going to Manilla Street Light Fund.
