The Echos in concert Saturday

Hits from the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s

RUSHVILLE — There will be something for everyone Saturday, July 27, when The Echos come to Rushville’s Riverside Park Amphitheater performing hits from the ‘50s, ‘60s and early ‘70s.

Band X, who plays similar music to the Echos, will open the show at 7 p.m., followed by headlining performers, The Echos taking the stage from 8 to 10 p.m.

You’ll hear tunes from Elvis, The Everly Brothers, Motown, country, rock & roll and more! With their female singer, they can include songs like The Mamas and Papas, "Chain of Fools," "Dancing Queen," "I Will Survive," "These Boots Are Made for Walking" and many more.

The guys bring in songs like, "My Girl,” "Ain't Too Proud to Beg,” "Mustang Sally," "Love Train" and all the Motown you need to party on the lawn.

Don't forget the ‘50s with Elvis and "Love Me Tender,” "Teddy Bear," "Hound Dog” and "Don't Be Cruel.”

You’ll also hear The Everly Brothers and "Wake Up Little Susie,” "All I Have To Do is Dream,” "Bird Dog,” and many more.

Tunes from the ‘60s include the Beach Boys with "Surfin USA,” "California Girls,” "Fun Fun Fun,” "In My Room,” "God Only Knows," and Steppenwolf with, "Born To Be Wild,” "Magic Carpet Ride,” plus Johnny Rivers, Neil Diamond and lots of Beatles!

This is one fun party band say organizers of the concert series.

Riverside Park Amphitheater is an outdoor music venue located at 100 West Water Street in Rushville. The venue is a great concert destination annually hosting live music events and creating a great family-friendly environment with all performances taking place on Friday and Saturday evenings.
