The grounds, lawns and facilities at Rushville’s Riverside Park Amphitheater have taken shape since it was established in 2005, providing the perfect backdrop for Saturday’s concert, part of the on-going free concert series at the park. The Echos and Band X performed to a lawn full of people on a sunny and pleasantly cool evening Saturday. Between school reunions, children playing, local organizations selling candy, popcorn and cotton candy, and the smooth music from the 50s, 60s and 70s, attendees to the free concert series appeared well entertained at the beautiful facility.
The venue is also a hit with performers who continue to comment about the great facility that a number of committed volunteers continue to add classic touches to. In addition to shuttle services, plenty of near-by parking and convenient restroom facilities, the Riverside Park Amphitheater grounds are mixing the historic with the new with stately brick sidewalks and much more.
