---- — The annual Union County Extension Homemakers Bazaar will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 23 in the Union County Middle School, 488 East State Road 44, Liberty. The more than 100 vendors expected to participating will feature lots of creative hand-made items including holiday decorations, jewelry, baskets, wreaths, teddy bears, embellished clothing, wooden items, toys, delicious eatables, accessories, and many other items too numerous to mention.
Come and get your shopping done early and uniquely! Door prizes from the vendors will be provided throughout the entire day. Live music will be performing for everyone’s enjoyment. Several vendors have stated that “this is their favorite event.”
Lunch will be served featuring the now famous homemade creamed chicken sandwiches, soups, sloppy Jo’s, and homemade pies. Steaming coffee and donuts will be ready for those arriving early.
There is no charge for admission and the facilities are on one floor in one building which is handicap accessible. Something new this year is the opportunity to bring food items for the local Community Food Pantry. This is on a voluntary basis and will be much appreciated especially with the government cut in the Food Stamps Program.
