RUSHVILLE — Director Aaron Scholl, Asst. Director Erica Scholl, and Producer Bonnie Miller have chosen the cast for RCP’s upcoming production of “Inherit the Wind.”

The cast is a mixture of RCP veterans including Mark Sloan, Dan Scholl, Sharon Scholl, Lisa Boaz, Elly Boaz, Matt Griffin, Wade Griffin, Steve Harmon, Donita Davis, Monica Davis, Caitlyn Hasche, Leah Noe, Patrick Moore, Todd Howard, Pat Coons, Steven Locchetta and Cory Bockover; and those new to the RCP stage, such as Scott Bevington, Noah Bevington, Matt Flath, Cassidy Noe and William Noe.

This is a very thinly disguised rendition of the 1925 “Scopes monkey trial” with debates between Clarence Darrow and William Jennings Bryan taken largely from the transcripts.

Rehearsals are being held Wednesdays and Thursdays at RCP’s new home, 306 N. Main St., Rushville, from 7-9 pm. Aaron, Erica and Bonnie are still looking for a few folks who would like to assist the production, including a few non-speaking roles. If you would like to participate, please contact Aaron and Erica at, 765-561-8032, or Bonnie at, or 765-561-3223.

Show dates are Apr. 26, 27 & 28 and May 3, 4 & 5 at RCP’s new location, 306 N. Main St. Friday and Saturday shows begin at 8 p.m. with Sunday shows at 2 p.m.
