RUSHVILLE — Tickets are currently on sale for the final production of RCP’s 2012-2013 season. Patterned after some classic sketch comedy shows, director Bonnie Miller, assistant director Cory Bockover and producer Terri Sipes have pulled together skits from The Carol Burnett Show, Saturday Night Live, Monty Python’s Flying Circus, MadTV, and The Tonite Show with Johnny Carson.

“I’m So Glad We Had This Time Together,” named after Carol Burnett’s theme song, will feature a fast-moving variety of comedic bits designed to make you laugh.

The emphasis in a sketch comedy is on the actors and the lines, so this is comedy at it’s bare-bones best! The cast includes: Stephanie Barnes, Cory Bockover, Lee Bradford, Andrew Christmas, Bradly Christmas, Donita Davis, Monica Davis, Donna Dyer, Ben Gasser, Shelli Griffin, Wade Griffin, Whitley Griffin, Steve Harmon, Shelbie Hornaday, Steven Locchetta, Terry Miller, Patrick Moore, Aaron Scholl, Jess Schlechtweg, and Sarah Street.

Show times are today, June 7, at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, June 8 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 9 at 2 p.m., all at RCP’s new home, 306 N. Main, Rushville. Help end our current season, and start your summer, with a laugh!
