Rush County Players has a question for you this holiday season.....Do You Believe? Director Matt Amos, Assistant Director Cindy Amos and Producer Shelli Griffin, the team behind last year’s very well-received “It’s a Wonderful Life,” are proud to announce the cast of the beloved Christmas tale, “Miracle on 34th Street.”
The story, if you are unfamiliar, is about Doris Walker, a no-nonsense Macy’s executive, who desperately searches for a new store Santa. She hires Kris Kringle, a kindly man who insists that he is the REAL Santa Claus. Doris, her daughter Susan, and others are skeptical. So Kris and his friend, attorney Fred Gailey, go to court to try and prove it. Is he the real Santa Claus? What do YOU believe?
The cast includes: Alan King, Alesha Smith, Amanda Locchetta, Andrew Christmas, Angela Buckley, Anthony Noble, Aria Meo, Betsy Fox, Carly Buckley, Delaney Dawson, Derek Davis, Jess Schlechtheg, Josie Doyle, Katie Mead, Kendra Buckley, Leah Noe, Lee Bradford, Mark Sloan, Matt Griffin, Rachelle McCorkle, Skye Clifton, Terri Sipes, Terry McDaniel, Tyler Amos and Wade Griffin.
Show dates are Friday and Saturday, Dec. 14 & 15 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 16 at 2:30 p.m., at St. Mary’s School, 226 E. 5th St. Rushville. Tickets are currently available through the cast or the Board of Directors. You may call Rush County Players at 765-938-1711 to reserve yours today!
