Red Hat Day at Metamora set for June 14
The Merchant’s Association of Metamora is hosting the second annual Red Hats Day. A day of fun and frolic is being planned specially for Red Hatters. Participating merchants also will be offering discounts and specials to Hats.
This is for Red Hat chapter members only.
Schedule:
n Opening ceremony and queen recognition at 10 a.m. at the gazebo;
n Best Red Hat judging at 11 a.m. at the Fatted Calf;
n Spend an hour eating lunch at one of the fine establishments;
n Go shopping – make sure you look for the participating businesses;
n Enjoy live music and a carriage ride.
Cost is $10 which includes:
n Carriage rides from shop to shop;
n Live music entertainment on the streets; special gifts Entry in the Red Hat contest – trophies for best hat, most original hat and funniest hat.
Deadline is May 15. Make checks payable to Metamora Merchants Association and mail to Queen Pearl at 3401 Eight Mile Road, Melbourne KY 41059.
