Our View: Amphitheater is worthy of community support

— It would be difficult to argue that the amphitheater in Riverside Park on Rushville’s south side is not a great addition to our community.
From concerts to various community events, like today’s fall festival sponsored the Rush County Chamber of Commerce, the “new” park and amphitheater provide a fantastic setting.
Today marks the final show in this year’s summer concert series. Five bands are scheduled to play starting at noon, culminating with Bigg Country.
We applaud area businesses whose sponsorship has made the concert series possible and encourage Rush County residents to take advantage of this wonderful venue by showing up and enjoying today’s show and related activities.
