Recently, St. Paul’s United Methodist Church was host to 24 bike riders, riding from Portland, Maine to Santa Barbara, Calif. The members of St. Paul’s fed them dinner and a hot breakfast, besides housing them for the evening. The purpose of their ride is to raise awareness for Habitat for Humanity. They will spend several days during their trip helping to build homes for Habitat. These young men and women are from all parts of the country - from Connecticut to Montana and California. We would also like to thank Chet Walker for providing showers at the Boy’s and Girl’s Club of Rush County. You can follow these riders on Facebook.
