Mildred M. Koors, 84, of Greensburg, died Nov. 15, 2008.

Born Nov. 26, 1923 in Millhousen, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Josephine (Harpring) Hahn, both deceased. She married Alvin Koors June 9, 1943; he preceded her in death Dec. 22, 1978.

Mrs. Koors was a 1941 graduate of Greensburg High School. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greensburg, the Linger Awhile Home Ec Club and a former member of Delta Theta Tau Sorority.

Survivors include sons, Tom (Phyllis) Koors of Richardson, Texas, Herb (Marcia) Koors of Milroy, Jerry (Angel) Koors of Greensburg, and Rick (Cheryl) Koors and Jeff (Faith) Koors, both of Greensburg; daughters, Sr. Joanita (Doris) Koors (OSF) of North Vernon, Debbie (Steve) Weston of Greensburg and Becky Koors of Indianapolis; brothers, Norbert (Marjorie) Hahn and Ralph (Bev) Hahn, both of Greensburg; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Hahn.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greensburg with Msgr. Harold Knueven officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg where a Rosary service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m.
