Geraldine Trobaugh, 77, of Rushville, died July 17, 2008.

Born Aug. 10, 1930 in Rush County, she was the daughter of Harold and Goldie (Borders) Trobaugh, both deceased.

Ms. Trobaugh was a lifelong Rush County resident. She had worked as a nurse’s aid at Greensburg Hospitality House and cooked for several years at the Rush County Home. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.

Survivors include brother, Robert L. Trobaugh of Milroy; sister, Becky A. Carter of Fairfield, Ill.; and dear friends, Larry and Terry VanSchoyck of Milroy.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her foster mother, Mary Stevens, and an infant brother.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Moster Mortuary in Rushville with the Rev. Ruth Starr officiating. Burial will follow in East Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the mortuary.
