Community outreach and support also seems to be a priority of HMIN. In September, a Human Resources representative from HMIN visited South Decatur High School to share her expertise and advice with a class. That little bit of encouragement and counsel could be enough to spark a student’s creativity or help them make a decision about their career move or higher education after high school.
In addition to local outreach, HMIN recently announced a major corporate partnership with the new Indy Eleven professional soccer team. Honda is now the official automobile of the Indy Eleven and will serve as the club’s jersey-front partner through 2016. This kind of partnership not only supports a great new athletic venture in Indiana, but also shows yet again the Honda commitment to Hoosier support.
The Indy Eleven President and General Manager Peter Wilt said recently in a news release that “The Honda name is synonymous with quality and reliability…” That is exactly the kind of reputation that HMIN brings to our little town of Greensburg, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have this company be a part of community or more thankful to them for all their contribution to our culture, job market and economy. Happy 5th Anniversary Greensburg Honda!
