Omnicity, Inc. acquires NDWave

Rushville — Omnicity, Inc., the state’s largest Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) announces the acquisition of the state’s fastest growing WISP, NDWave, Inc. of Alexandria. “We are very excited about the merger and acquisition of NDWave. We could not have picked a better company to expand and help us meet our goals of reaching Rural Indiana,” Omnicity’s Chief Operations Officer, Greg Jarman commented.

Omnicity under the leadership of CEO Richard Beltzhoover and COO Greg Jarman, spent most of 2007 restructuring the Company to position itself for a major expansion in 2008. Omnicity has a contract with Service Concepts, Inc. to provide wireless services to the Rural Electric Municipal Coops throughout the Midwest. NDWave, Inc. represents the first of several acquisitions that Omnicity, Inc. will make this year. NDWave adds nearly 1200 customers in rural north central Indiana and brings coverage into a total of 30 rural counties for the combined entity.

“The joining of these two companies will add significant reliability and redundancy to both of our networks. It was a very logical next step for our company to join the resources of both companies. The merger will allow us to service even more of Rural Indiana and bring choices to our customers,” NDWave CEO, Steve Narducci said. NDWave began offering wireless Internet to residents of Madison County in 2006 and is the fastest growing WISP in Indiana. The powerful combination of Omnicity and NDWave will bring rapid expansion and upgrades to the existing networks while giving them the opportunity to grow the network into all of rural Indiana over the next few years.

Along with the announcement of the exclusive partnership with Cue Connex, LLC, Omnicity and NDWave will continue to grow into more rural Indiana counties and work with Rural Municipalities with First Responder and Automatic Meter Reading services. “The combined abilities between our acquisitions and partnerships will enable us to build a true carrier-class fiber and wireless network with a mission to serve rural areas,” Jarman added.

Omnicity is an Indiana-based provider of broadband Internet and telecommunications services to Indiana communities which are either unserved or underserved by traditional providers such as telephone and cable companies. Omnicity is Indiana’s largest wireless Internet Service Provider serving businesses and consumers in over 30 counties.
