Feb. 1, 2008 is Give Kids a Smile Day. It is a day the American Dental Association has set aside to help low-income children receive the dental attention they need. On that day dentists nationwide provide educational programs, dental screenings, and/or perform free dental treatment.

Dr. Mary Beth Sheehan and Dr. Anne Neitzke at Knightstown Gentle Dentist are pleased to make this their sixth year to be involved in such a worthwhile program. Feb. 1, all staff members of Knightstown Gentle Dentist will see children ages six to 17 to provide as much dental care as possible for free. Children with no insurance or Hoosier Healthwise coverage will be seen for free.

Last year more than $33 million in donated supplies and services were provided nationwide. It is a day to help make a difference in a child’s life.
