Mr. and Mrs. Louis M. Hall celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013. Louis M. Hall, son of L. Meredith Hall; and Joy J. McCauley, daughter of T. Francis McCauley and Edith L. (Warner) McCauley, were united in marriage on Sunday, Nov. 10, 1963 at the Rushville Church of the Nazarene. Rev. Rex Mitchell of Raleigh Christian Church officiated. Rev. Harold Miller of the Nazarene Church asked God’s blessing on the couple in prayers during the ceremony.
Grandchildren of the couple are Samuel M., Katelyn N. Rumple and Kason M. Rumple.
A recent afternoon of reminiscence with family was hosted in Shelbyville by the daughters of the couple. The wedding photo album and other albums of family occurrences were shared with those in attendance.
Mr. Hall retired in 2001 from employment with the State of Indiana. Mrs. Hall, a registered nurse, retired in 2010 from Indiana University Health Systems.
Travel to Colorado, Virginia and a train trip in North Carolina (a gift from their daughters) were also completed by the Halls in honor of their anniversary.
