Published October 06, 2008 09:56 am - Mr. and Mrs. Eugene B. Geise celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 4. anniversary: Geise Mr. and Mrs. Eugene B. Geise celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 4.
Eugene Geise and the former Mary Alice Gwinnup were united in marriage Oct. 4, 1958 at First E.U.B. Church with Rev. Frank Hollingsworth officiating. Eugene is retired from Fayette Memorial Hospital and Mary Alice is retired from US Bank. The couple has one daughter, Anita (John) Gray of Connersville; two sons, Mark Geise (and fiancé Rhonda Messer) of North Vernon, Michael (Vanessa) Geise of Riverside, Calif.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
