Mr. and Mrs. Donald Holbert of Glenwood will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary Wednesday. The couple will have a private dinner of smoked pork chops, the same as the day of their wedding and every Oct. 1 for the past 65 years.

Donald Holbert and the former Ethel Bulmer were united in marriage Oct. 1, 1943 in Andersonville at the Christian Church parsonage with the Rev. Walter Crawley officiating.

Donald is retired from Roots Blower and Stant Manufacturing and Ethel is a homemaker. The have two daughters, Margaret (Norman) Barron of Glenwood and Wanda (Ardie) Estes of Connersville, four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
