John and Marie (Wilson) Koohns will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 14. An open house in their honor will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at their home at 221 West Fourth Street in Rushville. Friends and family are welcome to come join them in celebrating this joyous occasion.

The couple has four daughters, Cindy (Rob) Butler of Danville, Lynne (Richard) Lake of Richmond, Kendra (Jerry) Geis of Noblesville, Tara (Rob) Eckart of Rushville, and eight grandchildren.

John is retired from M&S Precision in Greensburg. He worked as a machinist for 45 years. Marie is retired from Franklin Farm Supply where she worked as a secretary for 17 years. The both enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.
