Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Wooley will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary July 6.

Ivan Wooley and the former Sharon Lohrey were married July 6, 1968 by the Rev. Brent Hardin in the Mount Carmel United Methodist Church.

Ivan Wooley retired after 40 years from Roots Blower, Connersville in 2006. His wife retired in 2003 from the Rush County Schools after teaching Family and Consumer Science for 34 years.

They are the parents of Travis Wooley of Connersville.
